As a solo practitioner, who I am plays an important role in how I work.
You might be looking for someone who feels approachable, someone you can talk to openly without worrying about saying the wrong thing. I aim to offer a space where you can slow things down, make sense of what’s going on, and feel more like yourself again.
Counselling can be a place to step back and understand yourself more clearly.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. You might feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of who you are or where you’re going. My role is to help you explore that at your own pace, so you can begin to feel more grounded, confident, and clear about your direction.

My counselling journey began early in life. Growing up, I often felt like I didn’t quite fit in. I found my teenage years challenging, with a strong sense that I needed to find my place and understand who I was.
Through therapy and my own experiences, I came to realise that the problem wasn’t that I needed to change to fit the world, but that I had lost touch with myself. As I began to understand who I was, things started to feel clearer and more natural.
This is something I now bring into my work. Many people I work with feel stuck, unsure of themselves, or like they are behind in life. I understand how that can feel, and we can work through it together.
In my spare time, I enjoy creative pursuits, getting immersed in fictional worlds, and spending time with my dog, Zelda.

How I work
I see therapy as something that should feel collaborative and tailored to you.
Everyone is different, and there is no single “right” way to approach counselling. We will work in a way that suits you, focusing on what feels most important and helpful.
I work to a high professional standard, but I don’t believe therapy needs to feel intimidating or clinical. It can be a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, even if things feel uncertain or difficult.
My philosophy
As an integrative counsellor, I draw on different approaches depending on what you need.
At the heart of my work is the belief that being seen and understood can lead to real change. When you have the space to explore your thoughts and feelings openly, you can begin to understand yourself more clearly and move forward in a way that feels right for you.
